A very common question that is often asked is, "How big is a tennis court?" or "How big is a basketball court?”

Whether you are building the backyard basketball court of your dreams of deciding on a design for a volley ball court, the size and dimensions are always very important. All fields have different layouts and measurements depending on the type of court you are planning to build.

To figure out how much space is needed for your court you need to consider to whole picture. How much space do you have, and how far would the court be from your house or property lines.

Standard Sizes For Tennis Court Installation & More

Listed here are standard sizes for tennis, basketball, Bocce and pickle ball courts including links to diagrams.

Tennis court A single tennis court is generally 120’ x 60’ although we have constructed smaller tennis courts to accommodate smaller pieces of property.

Basketball court – A high school basketball court has inbound dimensions of 84’ x 50’

and a NBA size court has the inbound dimensions of 50’ x 94’

Pickleball court – the overall dimensions of a pickleball court are 30’ x 60’

Bocce court A Bocce court can have many sizes. They typically range from 10’ - 13’ wide and 60’ – 100’ long
